Toshiba HDMI problem

I've got a Toshiba SD-370E DVD player with HDMI output and recently bought a Toshiba 37Z3030 TV.
I've set up my V+ box on HDMI1 but the DVD player is not recognised on HDMI2 or 3 so having to use SCART.
Been in work since so haven't rung Toshiba yet - any ideas what might be wrong?
