42" LCD 1080p for £539.98

It looks like a Samsung. But it's a "Sense" I've never heard of that brand. Still, i'm really tempted to get one, Do you think it's worth it?

Re: 42" LCD 1080p for £539.98

OK, there ain't much info around about this tv, but they do seem to be selling pretty fast on ebuyer. £540 is still a lot of money, so I need to have a little more confidence before I commit to buying one.

Does look quite good, at the same time looking like a samsung copy

Even clicking the manufacturer link leads to ebuyers homepage, it does look good though

Re: 42" LCD 1080p for £539.98

According to this: http://forums.ebuyer.com/showthread.php?p=281775 its a Vistron which helps nail it down a bit. At least they have a website and claim to produce screens for loads of big names.

However, there is some ambiguaity about its description, so i'd stay clear from the time being.

Re: 42" LCD 1080p for £539.98

My friend got a Panasonic Viera same size 42" 1080p for £100 more, i'd invest in that rather than a name i know nothing about. Had my fingers burnt like that before unfortunately.

Thanks for the replies, think i'll stay clear and look for something with a name I know about. The Vistron website is very amature too.

Might get this one from Chavgos, I mean Argos. If it's not upto scratch, then atleast I should be able to return it under their 16 day no quibble.
