Angry Problems with 'AV' text on Panasonic TX-32PD30

I have just been given a panny TX-32PD30 tv and are real happy with it
apart form one thing thats bugging me. When i press the tv/av button
on the remote, the 'AV1' (etc) in top left hand corner does not disappear.
It just sits there. I cannot find anything on the remote to remove it.

I have tried to locate the manual from the panasonic site but cannot
find a link there for old manuals. I saw it the other day but there site
doesnt show it anymore.

Can anyone help please? this is doing my head in

Many thanks

Re: Problems with 'AV' text on Panasonic TX-32PD30

Thank you for the welcome

Couldn't locate the actual manual i needed, but as with many
panasonic products, they share similar tv remotes so that
helped an aweful lot.

Phew, thank goodness

Regards...

Hi

How did you fix this?

I've got a TX-32DT4 with the same problem - been thru the manual & all the menus but can't shift the AV logo in the top left corner.

Cheers!

Considering the original poster hasn't been back in 4 months, I find it a little unlikely that he will come back to read your post I'm afraid, but maybe someone will come along who can help!

Re: Problems with 'AV' text on Panasonic TX-32PD30

Just in case anyone else is having the same problem, the answer is simple.

It's not in any of the menus, when you put the TV in AV mode and the AV text comes up in the top left corner, just press the 'i' button on the remote control & it will go away.

DOHH!!
