Re: Buying a camcorder

Make sure you try them (especially Sony) in low light conditions, many people have complained about quality in low light which stopped me buying one last October. I was looking at Sony ones as I already have a MiniDV sony.

Other things to watch is battery life the standard one is pants so you will need another, use eBay and get a "similar" type not from sony

Re: Buying a camcorder

I got my high capacity battery for a Panasonic minidv from http://www.memorybits.co.uk/ massively cheaper.. They actually went out of stock on my order but I received a phone call notifying me and the due delivery date change which was correct
