SMS Spying How Possible?
I'm asking for advice for a family member, he had sent a sMS to a work mate (female) and then recieved a reply. He Deleted the SMS and that was it.. (Nothing Sexual in SMS). Then the wife told him a few days later word for word what SMS was...
How is that Possible? She is no Tech Savy woman, lol. So only way I could think of is this SIM Card Reader to view Deleted Messages or is there any way she could have SMS directed to her Mobile via 3rd party site?
Any ideas?
Cheers

Re: SMS Spying How Possible?
With my XDA you had to tell it to clear deleted messages but I would think that once a message is deleted from a standard phone there is nothing that can be done with it. SMS redirection isn't possible without the help of the service provider I would expect.

Which network is he on, some networks allow reading of messages past and present online.

Ummm.....are we missing the obvious here?
1. He didn't delete it properly
or
2. The 'work mate' sent a copy to the wife
My money goes on #2. Does the 'work mate' know the wife?

Unfortunately there is. Cell/mobile spying software is out there.
Mobile Spy, a new application from Retina-X Studios, monitors calls and text messages and reports them back to a central server.....For those interested in hearing what was said, as well as when and to whom it was said, various applications exist for recording calls into MP3 files for later retrieval or automatic uploading, and at least one application can even record what's going on in the room at the time: relaying it over an incoming call from a pre-configured number.

Re: SMS Spying How Possible?
Cloned sim card? (Illegal)
Both phones would get all messages in theory.

Re: SMS Spying How Possible?
You can use this software on Symbian S60 phones, (most newer Nokia's)
http://www.wireless-labs.com/smsanywhere/
It forwards all texts set and received from one phone to a nominated other one..... not that i've ever thought about using it
