I'd go for the first one.

You can connect the Humax to your PC via USB & transfer recordings (so you can make perfect quality DVDs).

The Tvonics one is supposed to be really well designed & nice to use, but it's one of those 'fake' 2 tuner models that won't let you record 2 programmes at the same time (you can only record one and watch another). And it hasn't got USB. You might see it as the Logik 2250 and I think some other places have rebranded it too.

Re: Which PVR ????

or you might want to consider an Inverto, and if you were quick you could get it for £135 today online from boots. bit of a bargin at that price

It a true 80gb twin tuner, but no USB transfer

I've got one, pretty happy with it, even though I paid over 200 a year ago

you can get more gen here

There are some issues we are waiting for a fix for but does all the basic stuff, although all of them seem to have their quirks of varying degree, firmware for PVR's seems to be very problematic for all manufacturers for some reason.

This one has the 14 day 4TV epg, unless Humax has revamped it lately, it uses the 7 day freeview one
