DV in

Has anybody alltered there digi cam to enable dv in have been on the forums and seen article's on how to do on specifc modles but how easy is it to do i have a sony dcr-hc19e with a lanc socket would appreciate any advice.

From what I can gather you need a soldering iron as well as nerves of steel. Don't forget you can kill your cam if you muck with its firmware and get it wrong!

from what i have read all it is is two bits in the rom need altering which can be done but dont know if can be done on mine.

Yep, that's all you need to do to the ROM, the soldering iron comes in where you need to make a cable to attach the cam to the right port on the PC.

depends what model it is. Some models you buy a widget and plug it in and this enables the dv in
