sim help
i've got a nokia, vodafone pay as you talk.. have just bought a o2 sim card. when i put the new sim in the phone it comes up "phone restricted" then asks for a "restricition code" anyone have any idea?

Yes, your phone is locked to Vodafone, what model is it?

It is sim locked to vodafone....
Take the phone down to your local market where they will unlock it for around a tenner.
p.s. do NOT try to enter any codes - if you put the wrong one in too often you may not be able to use it.

Some are unlockable by code, if you gimme the model, i can tell u if it can be unlocked this way.

Bex if its a 6610 it can be unlocked with a simple code input on the phone itself...Is it just a normal 6610 and not a 6610i or 6610e? If you want you can send me your IMEI number via pm and i will pm you an unlock code...Otherwise as the other guy said take it to a local market or phone shop and they will do it for about a tenner.
