So far, problems with copyright prevent anyone from manufacturing a digital recorder with any sort of digital interface. Your best bet is probably to record an s-video (or possibly a composite) output from the DVB-T recorder.
Alternatively, get a DVB-T card for the PC such as the Nebula DigiTV and record straight to hard disk.

lol.. I have a Nebula. But would have to leave PC on 24/7 if I was out or on night shows....
But to get stuff into your Typo box in the first place you'll need to get your STB to convert the DVB-C signal to analogue and then let the Tivo convert it back to digital so it can store it on it's hard disk. The Tivo does not understand DVB-C (digital cable).
that is what i was thinking, but logic would dictate that if you find one of these companis that deal in modified Tivo boxes, they would be able to answer your questions on recording DVB-C direct from source
