Hi HOoLiGaN and welcome to Nthellworld.

I use Nokia PC Suite via Bluetooth to transfer files to my Nokia 3650. Which Nokia phone are you using?

I think this is the same problem as I had, I uploaded some theme files (.thm) for my Sony Ericsson T610 to my (non NTL) webhost, but couldn't download them.
The solution was I had to add .thm into the mime types list for my web space using the control panel for my web space.

Unfortunately, it's not something you can change for you NTL web space.

Re: wap capable mobile phone . jar files

It's as MikeyB suggested earlier. The problem is mime types. In particular .jad. To cater for those you need a hosting account which allows you to specify these. Most use Apache, in which case you can add this to a .htaccess file in the directory with your wap files

Code:
AddType text/vnd.wap.wml wml
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlc htm
AddType text/vnd.wap.wmls wmls
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlscriptc wmlsc
AddType image/vnd.wap.wbmp wbmp
AddType text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
DirectoryIndex index.wml
Check out my mini-wap site (one download) at www.circuitswamp.org/wap with your phone to see this in smoooooth action.

Running Apache on your home pc would work. Installation isn't quite as much of a problem as you might think as the install does most of the work. You would need to understand a bit how .htaccess files work though.
