Windows Media Player : Updating ID tag

Hi all

Does WMP 9 have the fality to update ID tags automatically and if so how does it do it.

Reason being the ID tags on some of my MP3 files changed when I recently used WMP 9.

I do not have a problem with this I just wondered how it's done !

Kind regards
Mike

Re: Windows Media Player : Updating ID tag

Not sure of the exact process it uses but always been a bit cautious with anything that auto sends info to MS about anything. LOL

If you look in the "privacy" options from the tools menu in WMP9 you will see a whole set of options for how and when it gathers additional info off the net for this and other things though so have a look there.
