Can any one recommend a good softwear to download music of the internet
heard about kazaa any comments good or bad

Avoid kazaa like the plague unless you have full Anti-virus, Firewalls up the kazoo, and can fit at least two extra strength condoms to your modem.

WinMX suffers the same but perhaps not quite as bad but watch out for hoax and wrongly named files too.

Kazaa Lite is good if you can still find it, no spyware, ads etc.
I agree if getting software, mostly it is in zip files and some, only some that I have encountered, have viruses.
Saying that, I got MS Office XP and WinXP from there:p

Main thing to watch on all these download programs is they are nearly always full of spyware stuff like gator etc.

This will inevitably cause slugish performance on the PC after a short while so you will need to run adaware or similar progs to clean the system even more than usual.
