28-12-2003 Problesm with MSN?
im having real trouble logging into MSN from my NTL connection, ive tried to proxy to it, different logins, nothing is working, am i the only one?

my msn has been signing me in and out randomly for the last half hour..apologise to the lads who are on my msn......
out of interest dupre what version of msn do you have?

microsoft 6.1, ive also tried trillian and dMSN (that kinda connects, but crashes the client) my firewall says no packets are being blocked...

I have been having this problem with MSN for weeks now. It wil log me out and it then can't log back in properly. It logs in but then straight out to the point it annoys some on my list.
According to friends its only ppl on their lists who use NTL that are having this problem.

if that was the case, i cant understand why i cant get a proxy to it, therefore bypassing NTL's "normal" port for MSN.

BLEH! sometimes i can be as much an idiot as a microsoft programmer, i had a closed proxy still listed in Internet Explorer, and ofcourse that means everything microsoft aint gonna work! i removed it and connected...
and dont ask why i always seem to used proxies for everything ;-) if you dont know, they cant arrest you too.

 you beat me to it was going to suggest checking your proxy settings......i had that problem a while again and managed to sort it out...glad its all sorted
