Thumbs up El cheapo router

Well, lookie here:

http://www.lynx.net.uk/icc/code/products.asp?recid=361

£31.90 with VAT and P&P. Ordered Monday, arrived today (would have been yesterday, but Mark was asleep on the sofa when the postie came), got it home, plugged it in and it started working more or less straight away.

Nice web control panel, four port switch built in, it's even got a USB printer port so you can share your printer across your network.

What's more, it's actually smaller than the Ambit modems, and certainly a lot smaller than my old router which I made out of sticky back plastic and washing up liquid bottles.

Good Christmas pressie for yourself, maybe?

Re: El cheapo router

Suppose someone has to ask the question is it STB compatable as well as SACM.

Seem to remember that certain routers such as BENQ are not STB compatable

Re: El cheapo router

According to some comments on the ebuyer site this does indeed work with ntl STBs.
