The skin you have chosen (from bbskins.org?) is a nice one, I used to use a similar one for that XP kinda look, but it had many many bugs in it, including no-popups!
I have since changed to a vBulettin kind of look. I'm still hacking it about and making subtle changes, but I am the kind of person to be constantly updating / refining anyway!
BTW, I am using version 1.3, though it is not 'released' yet, it is still in beta stages, it is very good! |
Stuart W do you have to download the invision power board forum to access it?

Not sure what you mean...
You can download it and install it, or you can use the on-line 'test' one.
The test one will give you access to the admin panel as if it was your own, so you can try most things out.
here is a link to the demo forum. Log in as admin with the passord admin to get access to the admin and mod panels.
But, to just access a IB forum, you don't need to download anything.

no problem, noticed your portal page so nabbed that idea 
All tied in on one link now here
[edit]Any ideas why it does not pick up cookies and auto log in, the login on the portal does not work either and I think the 2 are related???

Yes, the two are related, it's down to cookies.
Make sure you insert your domain details in the Admin cookie panel.
