Hi within msn messenger is there a way to clear your privacy list of blocked people?? just so that you can't ever see the person/address again.

Re: messenger block/privacy list

If you right click on the blocked contact and "delete" is in BOLD, then you can delete....if its greyed out then you are stuck with them on your blocked list until they delete you............hope this helps

Unless you are using a non-Hotmail/MSN address for your .NET Passport account. In that case, you can just delete your Passport account, recreate it, and re-add only those you want to add to your list. The blocked contacts from before won't show up on your list unless you add them to your allow list.

I've done this with my email address and it worked. Be aware though that if you have a MSN Space with that non-Hotmail/MSN email address, your space will be deleted along with the .NET Passport account, and you'll need to wait the 3 months (if I recall) to try to get the same name again. Hope this helps (and made sense!)

I don't know why MSN don't give us an easier way to get rid of names we just don't want to see anymore, even on a blocked list!
