Firefox Question
Does anyone know how to set firefox to go to the homepage when a new tab is opened rather than an '(Untitled)' tab?
Edit: I've now found out how to do it

Re: Firefox Question
I'd usually just click the middle scroll button onto the Home icon.

did you mean set your homepage?
Tools>Options>General
you can also pipe homepages:
www.google.co.uk|www.bbc.co.uk| www.cableforum.co.uk/board
use the pipes | to seperate the homepages, these will load in new tabs, so everytime you hit homepage, it opens 3 tabs, everytime you open FF it opens 3 tabs. You can have as many as you like. and change to any web address.
ik
also to add a new tab button, click View>Toolbars>customise and find and add the new tab button

Re: Firefox Question
The way i did it was to install the Tab Mix Plus extension. then go:
Tools > Tab Mix Plus Options > Events (tab at the top) > On the drop town menu next to the 'Load on new tabs' option select Homepage

ok i see what you were trying to do now, every tab you open you wanted it on your homepage......
the only thing is, I don't see why you would want to do that?

Do you use the other functions in Tab Mix Plus? Because if you don't, what advantage does it have over Pia's middle-click on the home button method?
Come to think of it, is TMP any good?

Yes, I use the close button next to each tab rather than the button at the end
IMPO yes TMP is very good

Re: Firefox Question
It is, actually. I have mine set so that a new tab opens to the same page the previous tab is on (often useful, since the odds are, if you're not opening a new tab from a bookmark or link, that's where you'll want to start from).
It's also got fairly extensive sessions recovery options.
