Re: Firefox Question
Might give it a go - though I didn't like the close buttons appearing on each tab when I had a look at IE7. I prefer knowing exactly where to move the mouse to close a tab without having to check which tab I'm in first

Re: Firefox Question
I don't geddit still, but then i guess it depends on your homepage
The only time i would open a blank tab is to go to a site that i regularly visit.
I tend to type 'c' in address bar and it auto gives me the url to my user cp on cable forum, or 'b' for hotmail inbox, or 'v' for vforum....etc Until i clear history of course. But i don't drift between loads and loads of sites everyday, just between about 5 or 6.
I guess it's just how everyone browses their own way, people might think my way is weird, but it's just my way

By setting up your tabs correctly you can have it do that anyway
For instance typing "vbf" in my address bar and hitting enter i get taken to vbforums.com
Do this by looking in the properties of the bookmark and setting the keyword to what you like. Easy.

Re: Firefox Question
But it's in my history anyway so i only need to type the one or two letters and it auto-completes it in the address bar.

Come to think of it, is TMP any good?

Yes, I use the close button next to each tab rather than the button at the end
IMPO yes TMP is very good
|
you know this is going to be a standard feature of FF 2
you will also be able to move tabs around without deleting them, so that you can organise tabs. all tabs will have the close button on them, which some will find usefull.
