I downloaded a file using Azureus and moved it...

...before seeding it.

How can I make it available for upload again?

Is it as easy as moving it back into the original folder?

On another related note, how would I do this and still keep the file where it is?

Thanks a lot.

Re: I downloaded a file using Azureus and moved it...

Assuming you can fix this simply by putting the file back where Azureus originally downloaded it, why not simply copy the file back to that location rather than simply moving it?

Depends what Azureus has done - possibly.

Copy it rather than move it. If you only have one hard drive then you'll need to specifically tell Windows using the Copy/Paste options when right clicking the file.

As a general rule when using Azureus (probably any other BT client) you should always copy files out of the working directory to avoid any complications.

Re: I downloaded a file using Azureus and moved it...

It depends..

If you download film A and this came in a folder with the following.

filma.info
filma.avi
readme.txt

Then you would have to recreate this folder exactly as it was because the torrent is a hash file created from that specific set-up.

However if the torrent was created in utorrent it could just be filma.avi that needs moving back as utorrent allows the creating of torrents from files as well as folders.

Of course its a non copyrighted file of some discription or talk of seeding anything else would of course be highly illegal
