Re: Microsoft Outlook

Have you tried stopping your AV from running at start up, reboot and see if it's any faster?

Re: Microsoft Outlook

Have you tried creating a new user profile and then re-create the accounts within that profile to make sure something in the profile you are using isn't damaged?

Done all that to, that was the first thing I tried. If I can't sort it I'll stick with Outlook Express it's no problem.

Re: Microsoft Outlook

have you changed the default settings?
If not it's set for 5 minutes wait time (unless you click send/recieve).
Go to mail, otions, mail setup tab, send/recieve button, change "schedule an automatic send/recieve every from 5 to 1 minute"
change also " when outlook is offline from 5 minutes to 1 minute" put a tick in "schedule an automatic send/recieve every 1 minute!, click close, then OK to exit.

Sorted lads thanks There was an email address in the accounts I'd not used for quite a while, I took that out along with the others and everything is ok now.
