I like the facility for adding extensions to Firefox, but am aware of Opera widgets also

Re: Internet Explorer or Firefox
I've been with Firefox for a good few years now. Tried Opera, but came back to Firefox. Only use IE very rarely.

actually when you tinker with IE 6 there's a lot more to it.... tabbed browsing/popup blocker/extensions etc..
Me I like the look and feel of Firefox, but I'm happy enough to have Internet Explorer as a 2nd Browser on Windows.

Re: Internet Explorer or Firefox
Firefox.
IE7 is a step forward for MS, but the real bugger about it is that the Adblock and Flashblock addons for Firefox just makes Firefox, and using the internet, so much better.
IF IE7 had some sort of free Advert blocking software then i would concider using it more.
I have it in on my machine (IE7) but it never gets used other than for sites that force you to use IE.
Using Firefox is like having a nice, distraction free browsing experience, using IE is like using a Pinball machine to access the web.

Thanks man - its true though - sometimes you cant read the page because there some sort of animated gif at the corner of your eye flashing and flapping away like a dying fish trying to grab your attention.

yeah good for a 2nd browser but the tabbed browsing is not a touch on firefox and you cant have a custom toolbar in ie like you can in firefox
