2mb connection test
is this ok for wireless broadband 2mb speed test?

1st 512K took 2078 ms = 246.4 KB/sec, approx 2030 Kbps, 1.98 Mbps
2nd 512K took 2063 ms = 248.2 KB/sec, approx 2045 Kbps, 2 Mbps
3rd 512K took 2078 ms = 246.4 KB/sec, approx 2030 Kbps, 1.98 Mbps
4th 512K took 2047 ms = 250.1 KB/sec, approx 2061 Kbps, 2.01 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 2042 Kbps, 1.99 Mbps

4th 512K took 3516 ms = 145.6 KB/sec, approx 1200 Kbps, 1.17 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 1061 Kbps, 1.04 Mbps

That's a rather silly question, you can clearly see that it's working perfectly.
And Florence is most likely in a highly utilised area, not exceeded the cap.
Here's my 4Mb Blueyonder test over wireless -

4th 512K took 1281 ms = 399.7 KB/sec, approx 3294 Kbps, 3.22 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 3156 Kbps, 3.09 Mbps

NTLs 2mb isn't capped and with the speeds I have been having this month I wouldn't be near any caps.

I get those speeds at aroun 12.30am daily, on my 4Mb, i find it very strange. But, around 12.35 it always picks back up, any idea why ?

Well i just did a speed test and this is the highest i've had since upgrading to 2 meg

That usually seems to be the case, Florence - proxies are _supposed_ to facilitate http traffic, but ntl's certainly don't. I wasn't on a proxy with ntl until just before last Christmas - then they got round to putting me on one. Definitely not so good - and even when speeds are going well, whatever proxy you're on always seems to go bad sooner or later... ;-(
If you don't have to use a proxy, don't - and count your blessings!
