How quickly does the report post option get to a mod / admin ? there was an OP last week or begining of this week who joined to spam thier site, I managed to post in all 4 threads ( basically telling them to go forth and multiply ) before they were caught, I don't know how long after my posts it was. Not saying that the mods aren't busy here, they are, but if I could see a pattern to this 'new member' and 'troll' the threads, why couldn't a mod, as it was it was nothing more than spam, what if tho, it was something more sinister ?

Depends on the time of day, Bop. Reported posts start a thread in the team area. At most times of day one of us will spot and action it well within half an hour.

Besides all this, our law has a concept of what is 'reasonable' in it. We would be unlikely to be held liable for libel over something posted at 4am and removed at 9am, for example, as we dealt with it within a reasonable time.

They had already been reported anyway. I spotted them and checked the reported post page before trying to report them and they were there so no need for me to take action.

You don't need to check the reported posts page to know if a post has been reported - it will tell you when you try and report it.
