I am no fan of MIDI sequences. The filename promises much, yet the delivery always has that air of Casio Portasound about it. But some of the dross on this site is actually quite good value. Someone has obviously gone to a great deal of effort:

I used to love midi's as I used them for the ringonte on my mobile before it could manage mp3's

There's some good tunes there

I've attached one of my fave midi's - although I had to zip it.

Now that is really nice ... how can I get it on my phone though, Orange deleted my email account through lack of use and it was such a major hassle to set up I can't bear to do it again ...

The funny thing about that MIDI collection is how he manages to make a ham-fisted job of even of tracks that were originally performed entirely on a synthesizer ... eg. Bladerunner theme: http://www.jochimsen.dk/movie/vangels2.mid

Midi files are fun.
If you have any music production software, you can import the midi and then tell it to play the instruments you want and remix the track.

I've had great fun with this. Sometimes you can get the instruments tweaked to sound just right.
