Re: irritating firefox problem
I have since uninstalled Firefox, and am back to IE6 it was driving me nuts, I installed it from a full format onto XP Pro sp2, and downloaded it direct from www.mozilla.com
It baffled me so I got rid of it.

FF is utter *****e, why not try somthing like msn explorer? If a program causes heart ache, it is very bad programming, I mean it's only a browser after all.

Errrm no, Firefox is well coded and likely this could be down to my hardware as I do run a Logitech G5 mouse, and this could be causing the problem.
As you said it is only a browser after all so why slate it like that

I have cleared cookies and tried a few settings out but got nothing for this.
While I have a method around it, this is very irritating so does anyone have solution please?

My install of Firefox 1.5 on my machine at work does the same, I click in the reply box and no cursor appears, but as soon as I type the cursor will appear. I don't click on a smiley first, just type and the cursor appears!
My home PC does not have the same problem, so I'm not sure what to say, could be a graphics driver problem?
