I spotted this on another forum yesterday, it's outstanding and will hopefully overtake Quicktime and WMV as the streaming video format of choice. (check out the HD trailer)

Impressive indeed! If they can just refrain from incorporating the intrusive, file association hogging activities of certain players - not a million miles from the formats you mentioned, Bifta - they're on to a winner! ;-)

I like the plug in. I am not convinced it will overtake Quicktime, WMP or Real though. Yes, it does encode video excellently, but I can't see the major movie studios supporting it, as it is still closely associated with Pirate videos.
