Re: Windows Live Messenger
Well, I had an interesting conversation with a friend yesterday.
We are both on MSN 8, and it seems the system can get mixed up. I type him a message yesterday, and he replied "Are you awake?". I replied I was. He said "How?". We eventually worked out that the system had mixed up mine and his girlfriend's MSN accounts.
Luckily, they weren't talking about *ahem* personal matters..

Re: Windows Live Messenger
Why is it that it imports your whole address book? I have several groups set up, which is ok, i then scroll down to find that all my other contacts are imported from my address book.

Err, Me and him were both using MSN 8 on the same network, but she wasn't even online (she actually was asleep at the time).

Because it wants to be an all in one contact point. You can filter the people on your list in multiple ways so that you only see who you want to see on the screen.

You may find this blog useful as it has a features list and explanation of a few things on it.
