If you click the BUY button as Opera starts, then instead of clicking anything on the BUY page, just go to the HELP menu, then REGISTER and enter the email address and code you were given from the first page. Works for me
Thanks to the O/P - never tried Opera before and it looks reasonable from first glance. Seems to be much quicker than IE.
It's also inspired me to have a look at Firefox too.
