Domain to Own Web Server
I have a domain name which I want to setup so that it access my home webserver, how do I do it. I am with 1and1.co.uk if that helps?

The company you registered the domain name with should have an option on their site for doing this.

Is it the DNS settings I need to modify as I have just looked and it says about changing it there and adding your own either for a mail server or for a web server, I will be using it for a web server so would I just put my IP address in there?

once changed you usually have to wait a few hours for the dns changes to replicate.

Yep, could take approx 24 hours for majority of DNS servers globally to get updated.
