Re: Ubuntu swaps menus for HUD control system.

Suitably impressed so far, even got the Debian/Ubuntu Spotify Preview running by adding the repository

Re: Ubuntu swaps menus for HUD control system.

I used to distro hop a lot when I started fiddling with Linux a few years ago, but I've stuck with Linux Mint for last few releases. I usually stick with the main one, the KDE, LXDE, and Debian implementations are good, but main is where the focus is, so works the best IMHO.

Cinnamon works well in latest Mint.

Not used Ubuntu since they lost the plot and went to a stupid metro style interface.

Which ironically didn't work on either of the touchscreen devices I tried. A Samsung q1u and a HP touchsmart AIO.

Re: Ubuntu swaps menus for HUD control system.

Metro style interface? Do you mean Unity?

Only read about it, and seen screenshots. My server runs headless, so no need for a GUI at all. My laptop still runs 9.04*ahem*
