Pale Moon.
On my Google rambles to-day I read this article about
Quote:
|
Pale Moon, sister to the familiar Firefox browser, discards a lot of old baggage to run significantly faster.
|
and wondered if anyone had tried it and what they thought of this Firefox alternative.

Although very USA orientated I usually find Bill Snyder's blogs interesting and worth a read.

Re: Pale Moon.
Seems a lot faster than my Chrome - if only it was compatible with Norton Identity Safe then I'd probably switch over to it.

Re: Pale Moon.
I'm going to have go with it tomorrow when I have my wits about me. I would hate to loose some of my add-ons so I shall be interested to see which ones are compatible.

Re: Pale Moon.
Thanks for the link Scrubbs, things got in the way of me tinkering with Pale Fox to-day but, hopefully, I shall be having a play with both Pale Horse and Waterfox over the next couple of days.
Have you found that your add-on were compatible with either of them or haven't you bothered going that far?

Did you by any chance try Adblock Plus or Answers add-ons?

I find Aurora better to use as it lets me use Adblocker and my auto login addon.

Re: Pale Moon.
I have been a bit of a wimp and not yet tried Aurora. I have only just stopped trembling at my temerity at trying out Firefox beta releases.

You could always be a tad braver and try Nightly http://nightly.mozilla.org/

You close it of a night and when you start it tomorrow it checks for the latest updates, it works with my main addons as well plus unlike Palemoon it uses my bookmarks as does Aurora.

I only have about 12 different browsers and use mainly the Mozilla based ones, do not like Palemoon as it does not use my bookmarks and a few other little annoyances, they are fun to try anyway.
