Internet on a laptop short term ,pay as you go options

My daughter has moved into a property and it will be a while before internet is set up permanent.
She needs the internet on asap and is looking at getting mobile broadband but doesnt want to be tied to a contract.
Does anyone have any suggestions or has any good deals that might work for her.

Do none of your neighbours have an unprotected wireless network?

As well as PayG. it may be worth looking at 1 month "no contract" deals. Actually, correct term is 1 month rolling contract, and may well work out better than PAYG.

If there is "Wifi Zone" coverage, like the BT OpenZone included on some deals, then having that may give an extra lump of date that can be used.
