Re: Facebook changes - discussion
The current new Facebook, or the new Facebook 'timeline' version that's coming on Friday?

Re: Facebook changes - discussion
This is the bit I am annoyed I have had to post on my status....
Quote:
Please do me a favor and move your mouse over my name here, wait for the box to load and then move your mouse over the "Subscribe" link. Then uncheck the "Comments and Likes".
I would really rather that my comments on friends and families posts not be made public, thank you!
Then re-post this if you don't want your every single move posted on the right side in the "Ticker Box" for everyone to see!
I'm posting this not only for myself, but also so that my friends and family will know to ask others to do the same if they would not like their every move on facebook noticed.
Thanks!

Re: Facebook changes - discussion
Im not really feeling the current change, but "timeline" should be interesting.
The feature which i really hate and bugs me is the notifications inside the sidebar chatbox we need to be given an option to remove that rubbish, it really needs to go.

Re: Facebook changes - discussion
I don't think that's needed is it?
All my posts are set to 'Friends of Friends' only and have been for ages, so they won't appear for 'everyone to see', and I've not got the subcription option turned on
You can also set it so your Comments and Likes and posts to be seen by your specifically added friends only.

Edit your profile and go to 'Friends and Family'. There is an option there

Add them to the 'family' smart list in the sidebar on the homepage

Oh it gets worse. It's been a while but there's a new status doing the rounds saying Facebook is going to start charging people to use it. Complete butt-gravy. Join the fightback.. https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=92096269274
