The keyless chuck's on decent drills that have a brake on the motor seem pretty good but the ones I'm refering too are the one's that you need 2 hand's on the twist chuck and you turn away from each other.
I've got a cordless B+D profesional drill that Ive absolutely hammered for 10 odd years and only now has the battery given up the will to hold charge, but the mechanic's are still intact.
I know Makita make decent stuff but the two drills I've pulled apart in years gone by to try and repair seemed pretty flimsy inside, which put me off buying one.
I need to buy a powered hammer drill again so I'm just gonna go for one of these and in all fairness theyre pretty good, well you know what I mean value wise, if it's the same as the one we bought for jobbing in work, you even get a spare set of brushes
