Alternatives to Coppermine?

Afternoon all

I currently have Coppermine installed on my hosted web space, but I'm looking for something with either a) more themes available, or which is b) more 'pretty' by default.

The server is a linux box running MYSQL and PHP.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Alternatives to Coppermine?

Is it a pure cpg site or is cpg bridged to a forum/cms???

Other options are gallery2

Re: Alternatives to Coppermine?

I use NextGEN Gallery, although it's a WordPress plug-in rather than a pure gallery. Works well, & I much prefer it to cpg, which just irritated me.

Re: Alternatives to Coppermine?

I went from CPG to JoomGallery for it's pure simplicity but again it's a CMS addon.

Would still suggest Gallery2 or are you after something simpler??

Another question is are you looking for a capability of migrating existing content?

Re: Alternatives to Coppermine?

Thanks Kymmy

Nope, no existing content and definitely don't need a CMS or anything.

Essentially ..... have a domain, and some holiday photographs, what to make the magic happen

I have Coppermine installed already, but the themes are ... well .... industrial and not very modern looking.

I'd like something clean, easy to use, and which looks nice
