Bye Bye, Sun.com

Yep, a couple of years after they acquired Sun, Oracle have have announced they will be shutting down the sun.com domain..

Not surprising, really, but sad in that Sun.com was one of the first 100 .com domains registered, and Sun computers arguably powered most of the Web during it's first years.

It's actually sad to see one of the real Internet pioneers die off like this..

Although I have to admit, they were an arrogant and irritating company to deal with.
