I.E/Mozilla/Chrome not working - only Safari browser? weird

i am connecting via my t mobile dongle and i've also tried my blackberry as a modem, it connects fine
when i try open a page in internet explorer i get the error "page cannot be displayed"

in mozilla i get

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

strangely i had the safari browser installed and that loads pages fine??? (im writing from that now)

ive turned off my firewall and any other internet shields. ive tried uninstalled reinstalling i.e/firefox, but im getting the same issue


please help

Its probably to do with the Proxy settings you may have set.

Chrome uses IE's proxy/LAN settings whereas Safari uses it's own (which would explain why that works and the others don't). Check in Internet Options and untick any "use proxy server" boxes, or set them to automatically detect settings if necessary.
