Locating info on IPs sucking my bandwidth.

I'm using Palemoon (a performanance enhanced version of firefox for Windows) and one of my applications (cfosspeed) is showing that something from this program is taking a lot of the bandwidth of my connection. Usually so much so that I can't browse when it happens. It shows me the IP of where it's coming from but no info on what site it's from if it is from a site. Even an empty browser window causes this to happen.
Ran Malwarebytes and got nothing relevant to the browser.
Running AV program now but I don't think it'll bring up anything.

Is there a way to find out if an add-on or such is accessing/sending a lot of data, or usuable data from just an ip number and port?

Re: Locating info on IPs sucking my bandwidth.

Entering netstat /a in a command window will give a list of all listening and established connections.

Private Firewall can provides a log as well as a Port tracking section. It's a free download.

needs to be run in a CMD pseudo-dos window.

Alternatively try TDPView from Russinovich' toolkit.
