Remote Access to Work PC

I currently access my work PC through the logmein programme. I am not very happy with the performance of this, can anyone suggest anything better?

Re: Remote Access to Work PC

you could try VNC or TightVNC. What are the problems you are having with logmein as I find this the best remote desktop program around.

Re: Remote Access to Work PC

I often lose the connection, other times it freezes up on me. Other people use this programme with no problems at my work it just seems to be me with the issues.

Re: Remote Access to Work PC

I would speak to your works IT first.

Pray they don't suggest Citrix, which is a pile of steaming poo.

Direct RDP to to the public IP of your works' firewall?

I use RDP, works well, but can be slow at times. Usually when I'm trying to send one last email before having my dinner...
