TalkTalk and BT have been granted judicial review of the Digital Economy Act by the High Court. It means a judge will scrutinise whether the act is legal and justifiable.
BT and TalkTalk argued that the legislation had been "rushed through parliament".
Internet service providers (ISPs) are unhappy with the part of the act that requires them to take action against suspected illegal file-sharers.

Re: Net providers TalkTalk and BT granted Digital Economy Act judicial review
The money plays a big part I would imagine, that being said TalkTalk could have done a BT, Sky etc. etc. and taken their thirty peices of silver and sold out their customers to ACS which they didn't and I thought in the case of TalkTalk they were quite vocal about the DEB.
Or was the comment just aimed at BT? If so then I totally agree .
