Find a blog

Hi,

Someone we know has created a blog but I cannot find it.

They said it was with Google (Blogger??) and I know the name it should be under but I cannot find it as there's no search function that I've found within Blogger?

Any ideas how I can find it??

Blogger sites usually have the URL http://BLOGNAME.blogspot.com - if you know the blogname, substitute it where I've put caps, all as one word, no spaces or punctuation unless you know otherwise.

Already tried some combinations of the name - is it true that the blog does not become live until the first entry is posted??

Or should I still be able to find it even though it may be blank?

Now, that I don't know. I read a couple of blogger sites but I've never used one.

I can't - they've gone on holiday - the blog is about their holiday.

Try giving it a Google Lee. if you know where they are going and have a rough idea of what it will be called you may just be able to find it that way but I think you will have to wait until they have made their first blog entry before it will appear on the web.

I have a friend who is currently blogging his way around Brazil and Googling his name and Brazil has brought him up for me.

Thanks Joglynne - that's kinda what I've been doing already - I'll wait a few days and try again - perhaps it does'nt appear until the make the first entry...

It would have been helpful had you said that in the first place.

Try this.

If it's on blogger.com they may have disabled listing however the blog should be "live" once registered - either with or without content.
