illegal downloads monitored at airport

At the airport security all storage devices (mp3 players, USB sticks, iPods, mobiel phones, laptops) are going to be scanned for illegal downloads without reasonable suspicion...And they have methods to find whether it's illegal or legal...illegal file sharing may be criminalised...and downloaders cut off the internet !!!

This is because of the amount of people who are wrongly accused each day.

Re: illegal downloads monitored at airport

The last time I flew I took a laptop, several USB sticks, MP3 player, PSP, & a moble, the total memory on these was 1TB, the USB stick were encripted as well.

Re: illegal downloads monitored at airport

Scanning a huge hard drive or memory stick that is encoded with paswords and get users to log in to Windows.......and not end up with massive queues?
Never going to happen.

Re: illegal downloads monitored at airport

As this is (if it is true) not specifically a Virgin Media problem, I have moved it to the correct forum

I think that this was mentioned as part of ACTA.

I think it has been taken our though but how can you be sure.

Well the US customs are as useful as haemorrhoids, after all they were suspicious of a bump in Mylene Klass's clothing, she was 7 months pregnant at the time.

You may be wishing to read this before you assume that describing 'them' as unpleasant is necessary. It's total nonsense.
