Dont like bebo or myspace, so I use facebook (not so keen on their layout change tho).
Dont entirely see the point of twitter atm, tho I have registered on it.

I only began using computers themselves for nosey parental reasons so i think i`m possibly just stuck in my ways rather than being trendy.

Ah no I wasn't saying you were doing it
But there are a lot of people who say they don't see the point in FB etc but (for whatever reason) have their own account or browse it occasionally.

Re: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo Which do you prefer?
I use Facebook, and have an account on Myspace but never use it, haven't for about a year.
Bebo is for 12 - 16 yr olds from what i've seen.
I don't see the point of Twitter, I've had a brief look at it and i can't see what all the fuss is about, all you do is read people's status updates??

Re: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo Which do you prefer?
I've added a couple of options to the poll for the fence-sitters and Web 2.0 hat3rz ... of which I am one.
Missus uses Farcebook and has a twitter account, although she doesn't use Twitter and is mystified by one or two of the people she doesn't know who are 'following' her.
She spends hours on FB playing with a cyber pet and stalking her friends and random strangers in ***** Wars.
That's m.a.f.i.a ... odd thing to be in the swear box.

Re: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo Which do you prefer?
I use Facebook. It's handy for keeping in touch with ex-students, and it's a handy way to allow friends and family to see my photos.
However, I am finding myself using it less and less, and can't be bothered to set up accounts on any of the others.

Re: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo Which do you prefer?
I'm not on any of the social networking sites.
I keep looking at Twitter, but only because the idea of getting a better insight into the lives of some of my favourite celeb's appeals to me.
Don't want to use facebook a) because there aren't actually that many people in the world that I like much less want to know what I'm up to all the time, and b) because I don't particularly want my picture/name plastered all over the Internet.

Oh yeah.....and I actually have work to do during the day.....

I use none of them. Don't see the point.
Although I am a rather heavy user of Windows Live Messenger

Re: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo Which do you prefer?
I use Facebook extensively. I lost touch with all of my school mates when I left in 1996. Thanks to FB I'm in touch with everyone I want to be in touch with again. Even met one of my best school mates yesterday for a drink or two.
I registered on Twitter and Myspace but really do not see the point of either.
