Well it's happened the "NEVER AGAIN" turned into why not.
Q: Why are I/we at this point today?
A: well "YOU" thats the reason after many months and daily emails (some demanding) but mainly requesting for me to re open the site. Latley alot of key members/players had approached me and wanted the same thing.
Q: Were do we go from here?
A: We move on, draw a line to the past and look to the future. There was winners and loosers and the looisng end was me.
Q: Will the NZB section be returning?
A: No, mainly as this was the route of many of the problems in the past, the way the site is set out at the moment there is no real need but with things going well at some point there might be one.
Q: I donated in the past were do i stand?
A: Sadly this will not count with the new site as we move on. You maybe give up a couple of $$, i had to give up multiples 100's at the end of the site and at the beginning of this new chapter with sorting out new servers etc etc and everything related. In reflection to then and now i have paid for the full dedicated servers and everything related and will bare the costs untill 2011 which is ot a small amount :-) There will be NO donation system in place untill 2011 (If at all).
Q: Will My Status be returned to it's past settings?
A: Sorry No, This is a new chapter and a line has been drawn and we move on and not back.
Q: Does the site offer SSL as standard?
A: Yes just use the url

Q: Is there still downloads limit daily?
A: YES, for everyone except staff this is set at 30 each day and going from old site 99.8% of 100,000 members never ever used even that, that others well used that for there own gains on other sites but quickly found and banned.
Final thought from me, I am only here at this point because of the demand for the return and the fact the key players made it possible. Now we are moving on and spreader & robby will be the main men at the front of the house so to speak. Yes i have learnt from past mistakes and one of them was not paying enough attention to the back room runnings of the site but worrying more about minor stuff that staff are more than qualified to deal with. All general queries should be sent to spreader and robby at the first instance.
If for whatever reason you feel hard done by and can't see the bigger picture and under stand huge amount of ££/$$ was shelled out trying to save last site (most from my personal pocket) and huge amount shelled out getting dedicated server, ssl and all the other things required to kick start and weeks of work building it up, then don't flame the staff or the site send a simple PM and your account will be deleted or just don't re join.
There is also facebook and twitter and i also paid for another server which will be setup on a seperate domain ( which i will post details of at a later time) so there will always be an information stream somewhere if problems arise. As i said before mistakes were made and we are learning from them.
This same message u can read on the site when we plan to re open Saturday 18th September 2010. One thing unlike most i don't shy away from explanations or standing up and being counted, thank all the former staff for the site re opening as it was them and 100's of members emailing demanding it.
Merlins Portal is not connected to the other site nor was i ever a member off it, big pat on the back for term for stepping up and creating it. It look similar as there both using the default style, merlins portal will be customed skinned in time.
Yes you will have to re register but thats up to you people if you do or don't, no information was taken from old site because it was soo ****ed up and database so wrecked we decided to build from the ground up almost back to what you all liked and were familar with.
