Tis a pain, being donated and not being able to access any part of the site...the fall back is and always has been nzbmatrix.
I've offered to help merlin (he know's I've got masses of vb exp and db knowledge) but nothing...
The server load mod from vbulletin is pants at actually containing the server spikes - if the server can't cope then the only solution is going to be at the server side, and that means a bigger server.
