Paypal said it was "an alarming fact that there is a significant set of users who use very old and vulnerable browsers such as Internet Explorer 4".
Phishing attacks trick users into handing over sensitive data.
Paypal said some users were still using Internet Explorer 3 , released more than 10 years ago. It lacks many of the security and safety features needed to protect users from phishing and other online attacks.
People are still using IE3 & 4????

Oh, please - some are still using Windows 95!

Stop laughing! I can prove it!

Windows Annoyances, 95 forum - date of last post: 12/04/08.

Why in von Neumann's name anyone's still using that I can't imagine; I shudder to think what they're running it on. 98 I could almost understand, if you're a retro games freak (though you could run the games in compatibility mode in Vista/XP, I suppose), but for Internet use? Brrr. Next they'll be saying people are still running Mosaic...

Some truely retro games wont even run on 9x, until about 4 years ago I still had a win 3.1 system. Completely isolated ofcourse and I would'nt dream of going online with it but People do still use them and I could have quite easily got it online If I wanted.
