Well I don't feel I do to badly considering I just use my laptop and ReloadEvery for Firefox when I am on line and I am at number two or three most of the time.

Sorry for the following boring post that will mean little to non-Utopia users.

I think that having more bods on Utopia would only help if they can get high enough in the rankings to give us a higher average. As far I can work out all the visits we make seem to be divided by the numbers of IPs we use to give an average number of points. So a CF member not doing full runs and making less visits would bring our score down and drop us even further down the Utopia City Rankings.

The formula is

Link points = user visit count / user link count / 3

if there are more users with the same link added, then link points sum app

Which I have to say is double Dutch to me.

A couple of days relative inactivity on Utopia has a pretty negative impact on rankings over there.

I have taken a nose dive on Utopia due to loosing my connection on my laptop and not having the power spare on my main computer. I'm just hanging in there and should be able to get back in the top ten by next week which should help a bit.

I almost feel like setting up a new city some where on a small tropical island where we could go back to the old way of clicking and have somewhere nice and hot to go for our CF group holidays. The Solomon Islands sound nice, a bit on the wet side but being from Manchester that wouldn't faze me. Any body interested?
