Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
You don't actually inhabit, you just see the performance of the city improve based on everyone's visits to the site. Each click on the site either adds to the population, improves transport, adds a factory - in the future as the city gets bigger the click can add police, improve the environment or finally add business. You only get one improvement action per day so choose with care. Current available options are in post #1

Unrealistic in real life, but this is a game
If unemployment is even 1% for only a few hours, the unemployed population up sticks and leave
Improved ranking and growth comes from more residents. But that has to be balanced with 0% on everything except transport which should be 100%.

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
There are now over 300 inhabitants. Hardly a baby boomer place but even so that gives us access to boosting security.
Next milestone, not that far off, top 500 ranking of all UK based minicities

Seen this on a few other forums and thought it might be of interest to anyone who has a click to spare. You don't have to register anything.
It's an online version of SimCity, done with flash. The aim is simply to see how big a population the city can get. You only get one click a day, with each click increasing population (default if you just got straight to the page), industry, transport, or whatever.
Each city has it's own stats, there are quite a few, with a 0% figure being good (not needed) and 100% bad (more required), except tansport where 100% is good and 0% bad. Like SimCity, if things get too bad, the population revolts and leaves. If things are good, somehow the city earns revenue, and can expand.
The challenge is to create a balance as the city gets bigger. But until you click to visit the site, you can't see the stats, yet every visit to your city, by default adds to the population
I'll add links as they become available - that depends on the city's size and standing.

Unemployment 0%
Transport 96%
Criminality 0%
Pollution 0%
Stats as of just now, need more transport!
