Having followed your advise some time back, to sort out a problem with my normal VM IP, I set up a VM proxy. I now run both IP's on Utopia. I know that my 'proper' IP is at the best just a sticky Dynamic one so it could change as yours did but what type of IP is the proxy one. Is it liable to change , is there any thing that would prompt it to do so and could I go back to that proxy IP if I wanted?

It will be liable to change the same as a ordinary dynamic IP, I may not try the router one as I will lose my main IP so will keep to just the 2.

Thanks for the information Mol. Sticking at 2 is probably the saner option if you keep losing your main IP you will disappear off the singles list and be hard pressed to get on the muti list. On second thought go for it. It's the only way I will ever beat you in the rankings.

We seem to be dropping down the Link Top ratings. Currently down to 30th. I am putting this down to more high end muti IP users on the site than before but I doubt if we can do anything to compete as the ones I can identify seem to be using at least 40+ IP's a day and our VM connections don't make that an easy option.

JoJo has used 2592 IP's so far to-day. <gulp>

Tried using the proxy without the router and it must be the same IP as your proxy as Cable is the one highlighted in the single IP's, very odd and amusing as its giving you clicks

Hey stop doing that you appeared to have knackered my proxy profile over there!!!!!!!!!.

Right, I have just reconfirmed my settings and got control back. I was just in the middle of doing a PM to Uto asking him what was happening. He would have thought we were playing games with his site he already thinks I'm the one responsible for his midnight glitch.

Oh and I didn't get the visits either as my profile wouldn't allow your profile to register the same IP.

Add..... Site just up dated again and since reconfirming my profile I seem to have acquired 50 extra visits from somewhere.

Maybe that's the way to get ahead on the 75 rankings.

It was only a handful and it came up in my profile but highlighted your profile name so came out of that.

I'm liking Utopia's anniversary doubling of supermode. 2053 links in 1.63 minutes on VM 20 meg keeps me in 20th top speed ranking

Slowly. Unfortunately llanelliville are still 30754 pop ahead of us. We are gaining on them by an average of about 800 pop a day but it's just a bit of a slog at the moment.

We could do with the possums going over there and doing a bit of 5th column action.
