You only have to use Firefox for the click sites.
I did say you will have to cross to the dark side above.

I would, if I had a reason - it works for me.

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
I even run a 2nd firefox profile which I run at the same time as my main one just so that Utopia, with a clean profile of firefox and no add-ons, can work faster without anything to slow it down.
Sad I know.

I found a reason for foreverwar to switch, I just tried it in IE8 and 15-20 minutes later it is still complaining that scripts are taking too long and a multitude of tabs are going mad at me.....
I do have a question though, I can't actually see any reason for playing as all cities are showing perfect scores???

What's the challenge?

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
@ mischievious
After we all babied the city along for a loooooong time we are now one of the top cities in the UK. You either enjoy the challenge of finding ways to get more clicks or you don't. The stats that matter are the ones here which we can use to gauge our progress.
Utopia with IE is the pits.

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
Actually, there is not a lot of point of loads of people joining sites such as Utopia. Our little city already has a very goog ranking on there, and indeed has done since November More people joining will simply result in more clicks to other cities. Make sure at least that, if you use supermode, you do not allow your clicks to go to competitor cities

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
I understand what you are saying...... I myself use different browsers for different reasons e.g. I prefer opera for most things, firefox for experimentary stuff and IE for work as we use a lot of Microsoft Techs which gen doesn't work either at all or very well in other browsers.
For myself either the members here are exceptionally good or the Game is too easy.... I usually enjoy these games very much, sid meyers CIV series of games most of which I enjoyed though CIV II for me was the best. I was hoping to see something similar though looks like there is nothing left to do?

I noticed that the Utopia thing drove my browser mad, going to 100 cities???? Are we really interested in the other 99?
I'm a little confused

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
@ Rob.
LOL I thought I had company on there. I never could reconcile the points formula with just my figures.
Add. Although there are a few of us on Utopia as long as you choose not visit our competitors they don't benefit and the extra links we get have driven us up Utopia's rankings. I have a private city of my own and it's way down at the bottom of the rankings and as a reult gets less visits than our city per day.

It works especially with Supermode and it will go through over 2000 links after 11pm and you can still use your browser, and November sounds about right if you look at the history on this thread.
